  After picking up the car I immediately took it home and jacked it up. The pads were starting to separate from the backing, I'll admit to that. However, the wheel bearing was fine, no play and no roughness when rotating the wheel! Not only that but my lug nuts were so over tightened that the seat on the lug nuts were damaged so now I'll need to replace them.. they must've just hammered them on with the impact wrench without using a torque stick. This isn't something they would do to their own car, that's for sure.

  Had both cars here numerous times, the staff are helpful and don't charge for things you don't need. Probably one of the most honest mechanic shops I've ever dealt with.

  Terrible. Took in for safety inspection in 2015 and scammed for $100+ in charges for removing GPS sticky back holder and dusting of the break drums... DO NOT be lured by 50% off MVI's, that is just to get you in the door...Never again, gives all garages a bad name. Plenty of other great garages in HRM that do not attempt this to get customers to have unnecessary work done...

  Oh yeah, after picking up my car I noticed the entire front half of the vehicle was covered in some type of oil film, excellent.

  I put new brake shoes on it and took it back to Mighty Auto the next day to get it reinspected. It passed! All without replacing the "bad wheel bearing" and hundreds of dollars spent. I have to give the tech the benefit of the doubt but it's not hard to diagnose a wheel bearing...

  Got them to look at a muffler. They took it off and didn't charge me which was nice, but reinstalled it improperly and it now hits the floor pan and they refused to fix it. When I took my other car there previously to fix its muffler, they charged me 50$ and it still leaked.

  I took my car in for a safety inspection and was told I needed rear brake shoes and a rear wheel bearing, the total cost being $660+ tax for the repair. I told the man on the phone to just leave it.
